The National Agency for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies of Gabon (ANINF) has officially launched a major digital skills training Gabon programme designed to build a new generation of skilled ICT professionals.
This strategic initiative aims to equip 1000 young Gabonese with internationally recognised Cisco certifications, enhancing their employability and supporting national digital goals. The programme was launched on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the ANINF Tower in Libreville.
The event brought together key stakeholders, including Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki, Director General of ANINF, and Antonia Oliveira, Director General of Cybastion. Both leaders highlighted the programme’s importance in developing qualified human capital for Gabon’s digital economy.
Participants will undergo comprehensive training that goes beyond basic digital literacy. The curriculum focuses on professional-level skills aligned with global standards through the Cisco Networking Academy.
According to ANINF, this digital skills training Gabon initiative forms part of a broader vision to create a competitive and resilient digital workforce. It emphasises the development of human capital capable of driving digital transformation while strengthening information systems security across the country.
The programme aligns directly with the national development priorities set by His Excellency Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, President of the Republic of Gabon.
