Kafayat Olatoke Bags Outstanding Leadership Award in Digital Technology

Technology professional Kafayat Olamide Olatoke has been honoured with the Outstanding Leadership Award in Digital Technology by the Eko Centennial Lions Club, District 404A1 Nigeria.

Olatoke received the recognition yesterday February 13th, 2022, at the Eko Hotel, Lagos; issued by the Eko Centennial Lions Club and signed by its President, Lion Monsuru Yinusa. The award and certificate states that the award was presented to Olatoke “in recognition of your outstanding service.”

The award followed a nomination communicated to Olatoke by the Eko Centennial Lions Club in a letter dated January 7, 2022.

The organisation cited Olatoke’s vision, innovation, dedication and commitment to using digital technology to create value for individuals, businesses and communities as part of the reasons for her consideration.

The club also stated that Olatoke was selected from 2,731 nominees in Lagos State for consideration for the recognition.

According to the organisation, Olatoke had demonstrated leadership through the development and application of digital solutions aimed at improving communication, business efficiency and connectivity.

The nomination further described her work as demonstrating how technology could be applied beyond communication to automate processes, create opportunities, strengthen relationships and support sustainable growth.

The Eko Centennial Lions Club is an affiliate of Lions Clubs International operating under District 404A1 Nigeria. In its nomination correspondence, the club described its activities as being focused on humanitarian and community-oriented causes, including health and wellness, digital technology and innovation, community development and education support.

The decision to recognise Olatoke therefore placed her digital technology activities within the broader context of the organisation’s interest in initiatives capable of contributing to individuals, businesses and communities.
