Musafir Holdings Launches JETT to Transform Global Travel via AI Visa Intelligence

The platform is also the first in the region to integrate the complete visa application and processing journey directly into AI assistants through Model Context Protocol (MCP).

UAE-based Musafir Holdings has launched JETT, a standalone technology business focused on providing travel technology solutions to travellers, travel companies and corporate customers.

The new business is led by JETT Visa Intelligence, an end-to-end visa booking platform that supports passport holders from more than 200 nationalities travelling to over 120 destinations. The platform is also the first in the region to integrate the complete visa application and processing journey directly into AI assistants through Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The technology allows travellers to move from checking visa eligibility to completing an application through a single process across consumer channels, partner travel platforms or AI-assisted booking experiences.

JETT Visa Intelligence uses information such as passport nationality, residency and destination to determine applicable visa requirements and options. It brings together eligibility details, documentation requirements, pricing, processing information and application guidance.

The technology is already being used to power musafir.com’s visa operations, providing the infrastructure behind its consumer visa services.

Visa Intelligence is available through three channels. Travellers can access the service through the Musafir website and app, while travel companies can integrate visa services into their own customer journeys through JETT’s Visa API. AI assistants can also retrieve visa information through Visa MCP.

Bringing visa services into AI-assisted travel

JETT’s Visa MCP is designed to address the growing use of AI tools for travel research and planning. While AI assistants can help users identify destinations, flights and itineraries, travellers may still need to separately establish whether they are eligible to enter a destination and what visa requirements apply.

Through Visa MCP, compatible AI assistants can retrieve current visa information from JETT’s intelligence layer based on an individual traveller’s circumstances. This can include visa eligibility and requirements, visa-free and visa-on-arrival information, traveller-specific pricing and processing details, document checklists and destination comparisons.

Visa MCP is compatible with AI assistants that support Model Context Protocol, although availability on individual AI platforms remains subject to their respective review and approval processes.

JETT expands into B2B travel technology

Beyond visa services, JETT is offering technology solutions for travel companies and corporate travel management. Its B2B Visa API enables online travel agencies, airlines, travel agencies and Travel Management Companies to integrate visa information and services into their existing booking and customer journeys.

Through the API, partners can access visa products, documentation requirements, traveller-specific information and application status while maintaining their own branding and customer experience.

For consumers, the JETT Visa Platform powering Musafir.com includes passport optical character recognition, document guidance, guided applications, family and multi-traveller journeys, payment and application tracking. Customers can receive updates through the app, WhatsApp and email.

“We built this technology to solve challenges we face every day at Musafir. With JETT, we are opening it up to other travel businesses so they can benefit from what we have already built and tested. As more people turn to AI to plan their trips, we want clear, relevant travel and visa information to be part of that experience from the start.”

– Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman and Co-founder, Musafir Holdings

JETT also offers two independently deployable solutions for corporate travel and travel agencies. The solutions can be adopted separately, allowing businesses to use the technology relevant to their needs without replacing their existing technology infrastructure.

The JETT Corporate Booking Tool (CBT) brings together business travel functions including bookings, travel policies, approvals, payments, expenses and reporting. The platform is designed to give corporates and TMCs greater visibility and control over their travel programmes.

The JETT Travel Agent Platform provides travel agencies with tools to search, book, manage and service flights, hotels, visas, transfers, activities and other travel products. It also includes integrated payments, reporting and back-office capabilities, allowing agencies to launch and expand their online operations without developing and maintaining their own technology infrastructure.

“The next phase of travel will depend increasingly on connected technology, data and intelligent services. Through JETT, we want to give travel businesses access to capabilities they can adopt and integrate based on their own requirements rather than having to build every layer themselves.”

– Sachin Gadoya, Co-founder and CEO, Musafir Holdings

Musafir Holdings plans to showcase JETT at Arabian Travel Market 2026, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from September 14 to 17. Visa Intelligence, AI connectivity and B2B travel technology will be among the key areas presented to prospective partners.
