The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority has announced that the updated version of the UAE government’s official digital platform, U.ae, recorded more than 11 million users within the last year, reflecting growing public reliance on digital government services across the country.
The platform also registered over 18 million visits during the same period, averaging approximately 1.5 million visits monthly. The figures highlight increasing engagement with the platform as a central access point connecting residents, citizens, businesses, and visitors to government information and services across the United Arab Emirates.
Among the most visited sections on the platform were visa and residency-related services, which accounted for a significant share of total traffic. Interest in pathways such as tourist and golden visas continues to reinforce the UAE’s position as an attractive destination for global talent, entrepreneurs, and investors.
The platform was developed using a human-centred design approach focused on accessibility and user experience. Authorities stated that the system was structured to align with approved digital accessibility standards, ensuring easier navigation and service access for all users, including People of Determination.
Mobile devices emerged as the dominant channel for accessing the platform, representing more than 60 per cent of total usage. The trend reflects changing digital behaviour patterns and growing demand for flexible access to government services through smartphones and mobile-first experiences.
The latest milestone forms part of the UAE’s broader digital transformation agenda aimed at strengthening its position as a global leader in smart government services. The TDRA noted that ongoing upgrades, user behaviour analysis, and continuous optimisation efforts will remain central to improving digital experiences and expanding access to integrated government services nationwide.
