Space42 has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Sindan to explore new opportunities in satellite-enabled connectivity for autonomous systems. The agreement, announced during the Make it in the Emirates 2026, focuses on evaluating how both organisations can combine capabilities to support next-generation aerospace and autonomous technologies.
The collaboration will examine how Space42’s satellite communications technologies can work alongside Sindan’s expertise in advanced manufacturing, aerospace systems, and flight testing infrastructure. A key focus of the engagement will be assessing the practical application of connectivity solutions in operational environments.
As part of the proposed collaboration, Sindan is expected to provide access to airborne platforms and command systems to support testing activities, while Space42 will assess the deployment of its aviation and satellite communication technologies under real-world conditions. The objective is to evaluate system performance, operational efficiency, and readiness for broader implementation.
Both organisations will also review opportunities to integrate satellite communication capabilities into autonomous platforms through technical assessments and performance optimisation processes aimed at improving reliability and operational functionality.
The agreement represents an important step in broadening the real-world application of Space42’s secure connectivity technologies. He noted that the partnership aligns with the company’s long-term ambition to strengthen critical infrastructure and operational capabilities across the UAE.
The initiative also complements wider national ambitions to strengthen industrial growth and expand the role of advanced technologies in economic development. It aligns with the UAE’s broader plans to accelerate industrial transformation and deepen the adoption of space-based technologies across key sectors.
