In a strategic effort to bolster collaboration between state institutions and elevate digital capabilities throughout Egypt, the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), operating under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has teamed up with the Suez Canal Authority’s Center for Creativity and Excellence to launch an ambitious initiative focused on enhancing the technological prowess of Ismailia Governorate.
The alliance emphasizes equipping students, recent graduates, and members of the local workforce with the skills needed to thrive in today’s job market via targeted training sessions, expert-led seminars, conferences, and competitive events. It also encompasses collaborative research endeavors and assessments of cutting-edge digital technologies to bolster the Suez Canal Authority’s operations.
Shortly after formalizing the protocol, Dr. Ahmed Khattab and Dr. Yasser Al-Shenji, who serves as Director of the Communications and Information Regulation Department at the Suez Canal Authority, toured the Center for Creativity and Excellence. They were joined by high-level representatives from both entities to inspect the partnership’s active training programs.
Standout initiatives feature the Egyptian Talent Academy, designed to ready participants for international employment opportunities through internationally recognized certifications, alongside the Egypt Digital Youth for Freelancing program, which delivers hands-on training and competency building tailored to the gig-based digital economy.
This partnership highlights the Egyptian government’s dedication to youth empowerment, the cultivation of a cohesive digital ecosystem, and the transformation of Ismailia into a leading center for technological advancement and creative enterprise.
