MTN Group has announced the appointment of Andrew Savage as Executive for Global Sourcing and Supply Chain, effective 1 May 2026.
In this position, he will oversee the Group’s end-to-end sourcing and supply chain activities, with a focus on building a more responsive and interconnected system that aligns with MTN’s broader business priorities. His mandate includes improving value delivery across operations while advancing digital procurement capabilities and sustainability-driven practices.
Andrew steps into the role with over twenty years of experience in global sourcing and supply chain management. He has been closely involved in MTN’s procurement evolution, most recently heading the Procurement Excellence function and providing interim leadership for the global sourcing and supply chain unit.
Throughout his time with the organisation, he has driven several high-impact initiatives, including the digitisation of procurement systems, restructuring of operating models, and efforts aimed at embedding long-term value across the Group’s procurement network.
According to Chief Financial Officer Tsholofelo Molefe, the appointment reinforces the strategic importance of procurement and supply chain in enabling business performance and growth.
Andrew is widely regarded for his collaborative leadership approach and his ability to align people, processes, and technology to deliver practical, measurable results in complex environments.
