Apple has introduced Apple Business as a comprehensive all-in-one platform designed to help companies manage devices, improve productivity, and connect more effectively with customers. Apple Business brings together several existing business tools into a single unified system.
Organizations using Apple Business can handle employee devices, deploy apps, and maintain secure operations while expanding their presence across Apple services. This integration simplifies workflows and supports businesses of all sizes in running more efficiently. A standout element of Apple Business is its robust built-in mobile device management solution. Companies gain control over devices, security settings, and apps through one central interface.
With features like Blueprints, organizations can quickly prepare employee devices with preconfigured settings. This enables zero-touch deployment, so new devices are ready for immediate use.
Apple Business also includes Managed Apple Accounts, secure separation of personal and work data, automated employee account creation, and seamless integration with identity providers such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID. These capabilities strengthen security and simplify administration for IT teams. Apple Business introduces integrated tools that enhance team communication and coordination. Businesses receive professional business email, calendar, and directory services that support custom domain names.
These features help companies build a strong professional identity while making internal collaboration smoother. Additional options allow the creation of user groups, assignment of roles, and distribution of apps through the App Store.
Organizations also gain access to an Admin API that supports large-scale deployments, making Apple Business suitable for enterprises with extensive device fleets. Apple Business extends beyond internal management by improving customer visibility across key Apple services. Starting this summer in the United States and Canada, businesses can place local ads in Apple Maps that appear during relevant search and discovery moments.
These ads follow Apple’s privacy-first approach, remain clearly marked, and do not link user data to personal accounts. Companies must first claim their locations on Maps to access this advertising feature. Additional enhancements in Mail, Wallet, and Siri further increase reach while maintaining user privacy and trust.
The platform centralizes brand and location management within Apple Business. Companies can control how their brand appears across Apple services by updating logos, names, and essential details. Users can create rich place cards that include photos, business hours, offers, and reservation links. Insights tools provide valuable data on customer interactions with listings.
Branded communications through Mail, Wallet, and Tap to Pay on iPhone help strengthen customer confidence and visibility for businesses using Apple Business. Apple Business will become available on April 14 in more than 200 countries and regions as a free service. It replaces previous solutions including Apple Business Manager, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Connect.
Data from these existing services will migrate automatically to the new Apple Business platform. Enhanced iCloud storage and AppleCare+ for Business remain available as optional paid add-ons. Certain features and the companion app require the latest Apple operating systems for full functionality.
