Rwanda AI Training for Chief Digital Officers is advancing the country’s digital governance agenda. The Government of Rwanda has stepped up efforts to embed artificial intelligence throughout public institutions with a dedicated training program designed specifically for Chief Digital Officers. The Ministry of ICT and Innovation organized this specialized session to bring together digital leaders from multiple government agencies, building their practical skills in artificial intelligence applications for effective governance.
Facilitated by Cenfri, the Rwanda AI Training for Chief Digital Officers delivered in-depth insights into emerging technologies such as generative AI. Participants explored real-world government use cases where artificial intelligence can drive meaningful change. The program also covered various implementation strategies and emphasized essential governance principles to ensure responsible and ethical AI deployment in the public sector.
This initiative aligns with Rwanda’s national strategy to move artificial intelligence adoption from pilot projects to widespread, impactful use that directly benefits citizens. Through Rwanda AI Training for Chief Digital Officers, the government is enhancing institutional capabilities to leverage artificial intelligence for greater operational efficiency, superior service delivery, and sustained innovation across key sectors.
