Airtel Zambia PLC has launched a groundbreaking one hundred seven million dollar investment in network infrastructure, representing the company’s largest ever single year commitment to enhancing telecommunications across the nation.
This strategic initiative is designed to significantly bolster coverage, elevate service reliability, and deliver an superior customer experience for millions of users throughout Zambia.
The ambitious expansion plan includes the deployment of four hundred six new network sites nationwide, with one hundred twenty one sites already fully operational and delivering improved connectivity.
The remaining two hundred eighty five sites are targeted for completion by March two thousand twenty six, prioritizing efforts to alleviate network congestion, extend reach to underserved regions, and build greater resilience in vital locations such as schools, hospitals, and clinics.
During a key media engagement in Lusaka, Airtel Zambia Managing Director Hussam Baday emphasized the firms unwavering dedication to fueling Zambias digital transformation.
