Efiko NG, a newly established education technology platform, has announced plans to deploy a digital learning system aimed at supporting and modernising educational delivery across Nigeria.
The EdTech initiative was founded in March 2023 by Seun Paul Olatunji and is positioned to address persistent challenges within the country’s education sector, including limited access to learning resources, uneven teaching standards, and the growing need for technology-enabled instruction.
According to information released by the company, Efiko NG’s platform is designed to complement existing classroom practices through digital learning tools, academic content support, performance tracking, and structured preparation for national examinations. The system is accessible online and is intended for use by students, teachers, and school administrators.
Efiko NG has indicated that it is working with a mix of private schools and public institutions, allowing the platform to be tested across different learning environments. These collaborations are expected to help refine the platform while supporting both privately managed schools and government-supported educational institutions.
Education stakeholders familiar with the initiative note that the increasing adoption of digital learning solutions reflects a broader shift within Nigeria’s education sector toward technology-driven models that improve accessibility and learning outcomes. Platforms such as Efiko NG are seen as part of this ongoing effort to strengthen teaching quality and student preparedness through structured digital support.
The company stated that its long-term focus is on contributing to the advancement of education by aligning technology with curriculum needs and institutional frameworks, rather than replacing traditional teaching methods.
Efiko NG is expected to expand its engagement with schools and institutions as part of a gradual rollout strategy, with further developments anticipated in the coming months.
